This story of George Bailey has become the ultimate christmas tale starring James Stewart and Donna Reed. It's warmth and sentimentality and the idea that no man is born a failure, are themes we carry from generation to generation. This will be the last posting before christmas 2007 Mrs.Claus and I would like to wish each and everyone of you a blessed christmas and a happy new year. We'll see you all again soon. Take care. This audio sounds like it's been kicked around abit, but you should be able to enjoy it, especially when Bing's guest is Al Jolson, who that at that time had been voted the best entertainer of the first half of the 20th Century. I know boys and girls it's hard to believe, but we all know Bing wasn't too shabby himself. Of course some guy by the name of Elvis Presley kicked butt on everyone...but that's another christmas story for another time. March 05, 2007 08:47 AM PST
Hey boys and girls are you smart? Do you study to make sure you get good grades? Well Mrs.Claus and myself always check our lists to make sure not only are you good but that you're doing well at school too. Listen to these kids as they prove that studying is important. March 05, 2007 08:43 AM PST

This is his christmas show from 1955. Good stuff and one that Mrs.Claus and I have always enjoyed. (now let me see where I put that dummy)...oh yes, here comes Boo Boo the elf...this should be fun. February 12, 2007 01:47 PM PST

Oh it's been cold these days for Mrs.Claus and I and we love nothing better than cozing up with the other elves and listening to our favorite christmas shows. Well, this one is a special program. It tells of the story of the child in the manger. Without him, there wouldn't be me, nor my elves for that matter. However, this radio show was part of a great series that ran for 20 years on both NBC & CBS. January 13, 2007 08:31 PM PST

This excellent show was later in the series when it was only a 15 minute program. The show still had some bite but it was also near the end of its run. At Mistletoe Radio, Mrs.Claus and I want to let you know that it's christmas all year round. So we hope you enjoy the show. January 08, 2007 09:48 PM PST

What if New year's never ended and was repeated and you began to recognize it. This is what The Shadow knows and it's an exciting way to bring in the new year. December 27, 2006 11:11 AM PST
Yes it's the end of the year and Santa has some nifty shows for you to listen to and enjoy before the celebrations arrive. I'll only be playing a few shows and some songs and then I'll return later next week. Make sure you keep note of that. And we'll see you later. December 26, 2006 08:06 AM PST
The holidays can be frightening for some. From this classic radio series comes "Twas The Night Before Christmas." So in keeping with the situation we present a terrific tale to help move that holiday spirit along. December 26, 2006 08:03 AM PST
